The Bamboo House, a hosted rental, is a two story, three-bedroom home that echoes a relaxed way of life. It features a large shared kitchen, sunny common living room, and an outdoor hanging bed on the back lanai with views of the tropical backyard. The Satori Suite is located on the second story, next to another rental suite. The host lives downstairs in the same home. The Satori Suite is a bright and airy 170 sq. ft. room with a private bathroom and Queen-sized bed. Enjoy its calming minimalist aesthetic and charming private balcony with outdoor hammock. Enjoy a morning coffee or healthy smoothie on your peaceful lanai, indulge in some reading on the hanging daybed and immerse yourself in the laid back lifestyle of Hawaii. To make your stay comfortable, the suite is well stocked with amenities like tea/coffee, deluxe toiletries, hydrating facial masks, bathrobes, Turkish beach towels, insect repellent, yoga gear, cooler basket, clothes steamer and iron, reef safe sunscreen and more eco-minded touches. With a complimentary set of body boards, beach and snorkel gear, The Satori Suite has everything you need for your relaxing Hawaiian retreat. Guests have access to the shared kitchen, hanging daybed, yoga nook, backyard, and lanai. We ask all guests to be considerate of the communal nature of these areas. The host lives on the ground floor of The Bamboo House and will be around during your stay. The Bamboo House is located in a residential neighborhood just minutes away from the shops and restaurants of downtown Kailua-Kona and many nearby beaches. You are just one minute from the main highway that takes you to all of the island’s best destinations for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing. The Bamboo House is centrally located making it easy to access many destinations in Kona. The best parts of the Big Island are only accessible via car, so we recommend renting one for your visit. We are 20 minutes from the Kona International Airport, five minutes from grocery stores, and 10 minutes from Magic Sands Beach. Please note, the home does not have air conditioning. The Satori Suite is equipped with a ceiling fan and a tower fan. Please keep this in mind when booking, as we know it is important to some travelers. Washer/dryer use is available for $5 per load. Please inquire with the host. A lockable bedroom door and in-suite safe are provided for guests.
