Once a ski lodge, then a horse barn, the hayloft in this unique stone barn has been converted to a comfortable & peaceful getaway. Enjoy a tranquil farm stay on a working Lavender farm. Help feed (if you wish) the horses and ponies and see the chickens. Enjoy the serene views and take in a sunrise or sunset or the stunning evening stars and moon on the back patio, stroll around the farm and hike our 1 mile nature walk. Convenient to local skiing & golfing. The space You are staying on a working lavender and horse farm located on a quiet dead-end road surrounded by fields, woods and conservation land. Although a working farm, you’re sure to find tranquility and beauty overlooking the lavender fields, horse pastures with a stunning view of Mount Wachusett in the background. Enjoy your coffee watching a sunrise, or a glass of wine while viewing a sunset. The 2nd story living area has a private entrance with 1 bedroom with a reproduction antique 4 poster Queen bed (with antique step stool) and a full farm style kitchen. The living room has a sofa and love seat, neither are pull outs. We have a full size “regular” mattress where there is plenty of room in the living room to set up. The bath has a shower, toilet and sink (no tub). Visit with the farm animals, there are sheep and chickens near the barn you are staying in, go out back and there are horse pastures on both sides. Enjoy a stroll through our Lavender plants or venture further for a one mile hike through trails on our property and around our fields. Or take an adventure past the property onto the adjacent conservation land for a hike, cross country skiing or mountain biking. See the last photo in our listing for a menu of our farm services and products available for purchase. Guest access Parking is close to the stairs to enter the barn apartment. Included in the stay is access to the area around the barn. Guests can visit the sheep when they are out in their pens. There is a patio with furniture behind the barn where guests can relax and enjoy the view of the mountain, horse pastures and lavender fields. Please be sure to read your confirmation sent by AirBNB for the gate code and parking details. Guests may not have friends or other guests visit. No Photo shoots. No Video Shoots. No drones. Please note: Due to the Avian Bird Flu we ask that you keep away from the chicken coop. Other things to note No smoking No parties or events CHECK IN time is between 2PM and 5PM (or later if notified) - Please do not arrive early as we need plenty of time in between guests to clean and change bedding CHECK OUT is by 11AM ** IMPORTANT** Be sure to read your check in instructions after you book. We have a gate to our property which you will need a code to access the farm. We are gated to insure the safety of our animals and to keep our farm private. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY ON THE FARM - 5 MPH - Kids and Animals are free ranging. We understand you wanting to bring your pet/dog, but we are a working farm. For the health and safety of your pet/dog and our farm animals and crops we do not allow pets/dogs. Thank you for your understanding.
