Walk out your door onto the Clark Fork Riverfront Trail and watch the surfers on Brennan's wave. Caras Park, The Wilma, The Top Hat and Farmer's Market are all within a few blocks. Walk 8 minutes on the trail and explore the University of Montana campus. The space The Penwell Building was originally an old hotel built in 1910. Its purpose was to serve passengers from the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad (the Milwaukee Road), which began passenger service in 1911. Guest access The building has 35 apartments of which 13 are Airbnb studios. Other things to note This unit shares dormitory style bathrooms/showers that are cleaned daily by onsite janitor. We have 35 apartments and roughly half of them have private bathrooms and half share 4 bathroom/showers in the building (2 toilet rooms and 2 shower rooms per floor).
