(Dog is friendly, playful, good with kids - needs 2-3 walks/day and both need feeding 2x day) Large, private, family-friendly, modern but charming full house in the woods: 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, basement with tv room, 4.5 acres of outdoor space; large screened in porch with ceiling fan; fire pit, master bath with whirlpool tub The space Our house is very spacious and clean with an eclectic decor in a traditional style house. The rooms are light and airy, and there is a large screened in porch with a ceiling fan plus a stone patio with table and chairs looking onto the woods. All the bathrooms were remodeled in 2018 and all of the appliances are new. There are heat pumps so the air is quietly cooled when it gets hot, plus most rooms have a ceiling fan. There is a large back yard with a fire pit, trampoline and woods to walk through and explore. There is also a screened in porch with plenty of seating and a ceiling fan, a gas grill. It is super quiet and private, and you might see or hear the owls, groundhogs, or wild turkeys that live in the woods. There is a desk in the hall downstairs, plus the 4th bedroom can be a private office - it has a desk and a fold out couch. Parking: large driveway and 2 door private garage. Living space: there is a large open kitchen with a table and chairs, a large living room with a piano, a separate den area with large tv (w/ apple tv), and a separate dining room which seats up to 8 people. We also have a Sonos sound system. Centrally Located: We're ideally situated in South County (10 min to Gt Barrington, 10 min to Stockbridge, 15 to Lenox) as well as Tanglewood, Shakespeare and Co., Berkshire Theatre, The Mount and the Norman Rockwell Museum. Guest access We'll arrange to either meet you, if timing works, or have a key for you. Other things to note Cat lives in the house and needs to stay here (she does not like to travel!). She does not go outdoors (but loves the screened porch). She is friendly and mellow. If you can't take care of the dog we can board her. We live here full time but rent it when we're away.
