Cozy upstairs apartment, 1/2 mile away from the Village of East Davenport. This is a tiny spot, but perfect for a weekend stay or a work week trip. Radiant heat, and a lovely view of the neighborhood and sometimes peek of the river. Free Roku , and Disney+! The space This is a cute, calm and relaxed apartment, that you will have all to yourself. We are walking distance to the Village of East Davenport, which has cute shops, bars, restaurants and a winery. A bit farther walk in the other direction and you would be downtown Davenport. We love taking walks on the bike path on the river, just down the street. The bedroom is SMALL, but it’s for sleeping. The morning and afternoon sun shine into the bedroom, we use black out shades to keep it cool in the summer. The living room is cozy, I put a million pillows on the daybed to make it more comfy. The kitchen and bathroom are also SMALL, but efficient. Everything out in the open so it’s easy to find everything. We have young children who are sometimes loud- the house is old with some thick walls and some thin ones. We are always conscious about noise, but it is quite difficult to keep children quiet in their own home. We hope you understand if this is a good fit or not for you. Guest access Guests will have access to one off street parking space and on street as well. The door to the apartment is on the alley side, where we also come in. There is a small porch with a door to the apartment and a door to our kitchen, so we are close by if you need anything. Internet access has recently been improved. It is running well and we pay for the best speed available in our area. If you ever have trouble, please share with us so we can try to fix. Other things to note Our house is old. We’ve been working on it for more than 9 years, and put a lot of money into it. Some things may seem strange or unconventional, but I promise you we have thought of how to fix alllll our problems, and the thing it will take to fix it all to perfect standards, is money. We hope that if you stay here, you give us leeway on those strange things, and know that we will do everything in our power and budget to make it safe and comfortable for your stay.
