Night time skies are a stargazer's dream. Baptiste was built by original homesteader, Mickey Wagner for his trapping friend, Baptiste. Enjoy the authenticity and beautiful surroundings. Early trappers followed after beaver, mink and otter in nearby ponds one hundred years ago! Baptiste is rustic, but remodeled with modern conveniences for your comfort. Basics include: One bedroom, one loft, one full bathroom, full laundry. Free WiFi. Have fun. Baptiste is one of three original cabins on site. Enjoy privacy, your own large yard, BBQ, picnic table, fire pit and a fabulous view of Bad Rock Canyon. Our on-site Abbott Valley Manager is Doyle Foley. Doyle will make every attempt to greet you, answer any questions and make sure you are comfortable. Abbott Valley Homestead is a large ranch surrounded by Flathead National Forest, located two miles east of Martin City, MT, and four miles from the Hungry Horse Reservoir. A trip to Glacier Park is only ten minutes away which makes Abbott Valley a great place to call base camp! Four wheels is really a must! We provide all linens, bedding, soaps, flatware, dishes, spices, cooking utensils and wood for the fire pit. You just need to provide groceries and beverages and you’re all set to go! Shopping is local and very convenient.
