This guest- and family-friendly home, combining the upper two floors and an adjoining basement self-contained apartment, is the perfect base camp for exploring Helena, its trails, public lands, and fly-fishing. It’s also an ideal layover between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks or a place to gather with loved ones. You’ll feel welcome in our well-appointed, modern, clean home, walking distance from Helena’s historic downtown and the Montana Capitol. The space This spacious and practical house is appointed to help guests feel at home. It features a well-supplied kitchen that accommodates multiple cooks, a coffee/tea bar, and ample stool seating. There are enough dishes, silverware, and glassware for 12+guests, as well as 12 chairs, 2 dining tables, and 4 stools for dining or games. There's also a set of non-breakable dishes for kids! The basement apartment is self-contained (1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchenette with a convertible sofa in the living room). The apartment cannot be rented separately from the big house. As a courtesy to all our guests and neighbors, we enforce ‘quiet hours’ from 10 pm to 8 am. This means courteous neighbor behavior. When rented together, the upper two floors and the apartment include 6 beds and 3 baths, accommodating 14 guests. This creates an ideal space for larger gatherings, reunions, or work retreats. The house has reliable, high-speed internet and WiFi, and TVs that stream Disney+ and Netflix (included). The smart TVs also let you sign in to a variety of your own subscriptions (Hulu, Prime, ESPN, etc.). We also offer a variety of games for you to play. Each bedroom has a comfortable CASPER mattress to guarantee a great night’s sleep. Bedside lamps feature USB charging ports. Living rooms have a desk with workspace and a multi-device charging station. Two outdoor areas welcome guests: an excellent front porch and a roomy deck with a BBQ grill, as well as a fully enclosed backyard. Parking is available both in the backyard on a gravel driveway (up to four cars) and on the street. There is room beside the shed to lock up bikes with your own locks. We have installed an electric plug for your engine warmer, which can be used on the coldest days or for your electric vehicle. Guest access Guests will be sent a unique entry code for the electronic lock. This code will provide access from 4:00 PM on the first day of the booking until check-in and end at 11:00 AM on the last day of the booking. Reserved parking is available for up to four vehicles in the back of the house on a gravel driveway. The driveway is accessed by an unpaved alleyway. Street parking is available on either Alta St. or Breckenridge St. Other things to note Renting the entire house, including the upper two floors and the adjoining basement apartment, can accommodate 14+ people and includes 5 bedrooms with 5 Queen beds, 1 futon, and 2 sofa beds; 3 full baths; 2 full kitchens; and seating for 10-16 indoors and 6+ outdoors.
