Zoar Outdoor's Hawk Mountain Lodge

Cute and quaint, the Hawk Mountain Lodge offers quiet nights near both the Deerfield River and Berkshire East Ski Resort. Perfect for any time of year, guests can enjoy a number of outdoor activities including kayaking, rafting, ziplining, and skiing in the winter. Available to book by room (2-5 people, depending on the room) or the whole Lodge (15-17 people). There is a common area on the ground floor, with TV, Chairs, Couch, Tea & Coffee making area, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The space Hawk Mountain Lodge is a guest lodge with 5 bedrooms. 1 with private bath, 1 with semi-private bath and 3 with shared bath. There is a common room that has a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. The house was built in the middle of the 1800s and was once home to Charles Dudley Warner who founded the Hartford Courant and was a friend of Mark Twain. We have renovated the house extensively so it is a comfortable place to stay with modern amenities. On the campus of Zoar Outdoor, Hawk Mountain Lodge offers great adventure activities within walking distance - zip lining, rafting, rock climbing, kayaking and biking are all just out the front door. We are the closest lodging to Berkshire East Ski Resort and we offer discounts on skiing during the winter. Guest access Guests have access to the lodge common room with a tv/vcr, a coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. They also have access to a large network of hiking and biking trails that start just out the door of the lodge. Please note the Lodge does not have a full kitchen available. During your stay We're around during the day a lot and are happy to answer questions or just chat. Our Lodging Manager is available on site to help with checking in and out if you need her. Otherwise the property is 'self check-in'. Other things to note Located at Zoar Outdoor, the lodge often has a bit of hustle and bustle around during the day, but quiets down in the evening for peaceful nights.
