Gene commutes alternatively to the city or works out of his home office and I work mornings at home. Most afternoons/evenings I am in and out teaching music both in the home and in studios in Princeton and environs. I like to chat and am a natural encourager/mentor, but also need time to get my work done. When available, I am happy to drop off/pick up at Princeton J, Dinky- or Trenton- train stations. Our children attended a boarding school; one of our sons attended P-ton University. We so appreciated B&B's when we visited our kids. Thus, we welcome students and/or parents who are visiting their children at one of the schools or universities, attending alumni events, going to sporting event weekends, or visiting educational institutions in the area. This is a quiet family neighborhood with beautifully landscaped homes and friendly people. We are a 10-15 minute walk (0.6 mile) from downtown Lawrenceville where there is a Starbucks, a Bakery/restaurant, an ice cream shop, the Bus Stop to get to Princeton and/or to the train stations (P-ton Station and/or Trenton Station), and other fine restaurants. The #606 city bus stops on Lawrenceville's Main Street (.6 mile from our house). It is a quick bus trip north to Princeton University (approximately 15 min bus ride), or south (10 min bus ride) to Rider University. We are smack in the middle of an educational, cultural hub. Buses stop on a regular schedule and are very convenient for those studying/lecturing/researching at Princeton University or environs. The bus stop is near to the main gate of the Lawrenceville School. Our neighborhood has nearby city and idyllic county parks where you can walk or jog. It is ideal for the post graduate college student, parent(s) visiting their student in the area, or for the international student completing a research project/internship, a student on a medical rotation, or the sightseeing enthusiast. We lived in NYC for many years and have been in the area a long time. We are glad to share our experience, travel tips, or answer questions about the area when we are able.
