Steps away from public transport (subway, bus, bikes) in a lovely historic neighborhood! Our guest suite is on the 3rd floor of our elegant home in Porter Square. You’ll have the entire floor: 2 bedrooms, private bath and private roof deck, and you'll share the entrance and stairway with us. We are surrounded by restaurants and shopping, and, as natives, have lots of tips! Microwave, fridge and coffee/tea in the suite. We speak German, French and some Arabic. The space The suite includes two lovely, sunny rooms, large bathroom with rain head shower and jetted tub, and private roof deck. There is French-press coffee, tea, a microwave and a small fridge available on the landing between the two bedrooms. The roof deck is perfect for morning coffee, restaurant take-out, or a glass of wine later in the day. Guest access Washer and dryer available on request, free of charge Other things to note - We are in an ideal location for public transportation, but not for cars. If you do plan to bring a car, you MUST tell us before you arrive. We have a free visitor street pass for up to three nights, but our street is narrow and crowded, and expert parallel parking is required! Another option is to garage your car at Alewife Station ($9/night), a few stops away on the T. If you decide you want a car for a day trip there is a Hertz Car Rental within walking distance. - Don't hesitate to ask about dates that are not marked as available. I am cautious about opening the schedule, so there may well be more availability on request. - We are semi-retired "empty nesters" who are in and out, but you will have all-day access with a code for the key box and can come and go from your suite as you please.
