Waterfront Condo, Kayaks, SUP's, Bikes, and More!

Description

Tucked away on a Flathead Lake inlet (North Shore Harbor) and overlooking the lake you will find your ideal basecamp for exploring Flathead Lake, Bigfork Village (1/2 mile) and beyond. When you step into the Great Room of our modern condo you will be welcomed by windows overlooking the water and a fireplace surrounded by comfy seating, the perfect gathering spot for your family & friends. When you discover all the water toys and bikes included with your stay you'll be a happy camper! The space The condo features a nice waterfront lawn which is the center for all water activities. For those who are new to paddle boarding and kayaking the confined space and calm water of the North Shore Harbor make a safe place to get your sea legs. If you're looking for bigger adventures quick access to Flathead Lake is just a few paddle strokes way. The Bigfork Harbor is located just around corner and under the Bridge. The Marina Cay Resort, on the left, with a restaurant and Tiki Bar might be a fun stopping off place if you want to take a break. There are endless biking opportunities around the Bigfork area or just a quick 5-10 minute ride to downtown Bigfork for Breakfast or a cup of coffee if you prefer. At the end of the day we like to pull the lawn chairs out and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the boats go by. We have a smallish Weber gas grill (in addition to the grill on the balcony off the kitchen) that can be wheeled out on the back lawn if you would like to prepare dinner on the waterfront. 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 3 fishing rods (including one for little kids), beach towels, life jackets, 2 mountain bikes, helmets, corn hole, 8 lawn chairs, fire pit with skewers, picnic table and board games will make for hours of fun when you are not out exploring the magnificent Montana outdoors. From the comfort of the two condo balconies, parents can watch their kids frolicking on the front yard playing corn hole or roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. It's the perfect place to enjoy your Montana summer vacation. Our condo, which we purchased in 2019, was built in 2007 has been gently used by seasonal owners and is in excellent condition. The interior offers many high end finishes with an open floor plan. Flooring includes hard wood and tile throughout except in the bedrooms which are carpet. The tile floors all have radiant heat that has to be turned on separate from the thermostat. The walls are thick and the doors are all solid wood so you can get way from it all if you choose. The condo kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The modern interior has mostly new furnishings that welcome you into this comfortable space. We have numerous games for people of all ages stored in the built in great room cabinets. Our screens pull down from the top of the window frames if you want to open all the windows at night and let the cool Montana air flow through. You will also find a pedestal fan in each bedroom closet. Please note the parking space restrictions when making your reservations (See below). Feel free to contact me regarding the parking or any other questions you may have. Guest access Outside the condo feel free to enjoy the front yard, waterfront and dock area. On the side of our condo you will find a basketball hoop and a basketball in the garage. If you're looking for solitude, the condo interior provides a quiet oasis. Feel free to use everything and anything in the condo. Please do not take glass wear outside the condo. We have more than enough unbreakable glass wear. The boat launch is privately owned (as are the slips) and may only be used to launch paddle boards and kayaks. If you bring your own boat, you will need to make prior arrangements to launch and park your boat off our premises. Trailers, motorhomes, campers and other oversized vehicles are also prohibited and will be towed without notice. Other things to note **Please note that kayak or paddle board use is available only June 15- Labor Day weekend. The Flathead Lake water level decreases by about 10 feet in the early fall making our canal too shallow to launch watercraft of any type. As late fall approaches the canal will be almost empty** Please be respectful of our neighbors. This is a small neighborhood of 6 condos and we all share the waterfront space. Parking is tight. You may only have a maximum of 3 regular sized vehicles, one which will have to be parked in the garage (7 foot door) while the other 2 will need to be parked directly in front of our garage door. If you park anywhere other than this designated area your vehicle may be towed without notice. There is no street parking. Boat trailers, campers motorhomes or any other oversized vehicles are strictly prohibited as there is no public space to park them. The boat slips are all privately owned so if you bring your own boat, you will have to find somewhere else to keep it during your stay at the condo.
