Private 2 Bedroom apartment in my home on quiet street surrounded by exquisite gardens. Located in quaint Padanaram village with lovely shops, spas and farm and sea-to-table restaurants only a walk away. Situated 1 block from Apponagansett river. Close to beautiful beaches, walking/hiking/biking trails, local galleries, vineyards and historic New Bedford. Calm and peaceful apartment with private entrance that is part of my home. You enter from the deck by the driveway into the kitchen . The kitchen is fully stocked. The apartment has two bedrooms with. a queen and full beds. One bedroom has a TV and there is a second TV in the living room . Both TV’s have Netflix and Amazon.The bathroom is accessed from the living room giving privacy from both bedrooms. The living room has two couches and two comfy chairs and loads of art books to enjoy. You can enjoy a private outdoor space with table, chairs and umbrella to have your meals . Your privacy will be respected at all times..My entrance is through my deck on the south side of the house. You might see me when I pick up my mail since the box is by your entrance but my aim is to have you feel that I am not next door, although I am here to make your stay perfect if you need anything. Walk across the road and watch sunset on the dock of Marshall's Boat Yard. Beautiful place to start bike rides to Westport, MA. 45 min drive to Cape Cod and Westport, 30 min to Providence, RI and 1 hour to Boston or Newport. One of the best kept secrets on the East coast for a relaxing summer retreat! Close to Zeiterion Theater, Whaling and Art Museums in New Bedford, MA. 15 min drive to Martha's Vineyard ferry. Artist studios scattered throughout Dartmouth, Westport, Tiverton and Little Compton. Host will provide a list of local attractions. Bike rental in Dartmouth, MA if you'd like to explore the area on wheels! Bring your own bikes and keep them safe in the garage. Beautiful hiking/walking trails to really be out in nature - fun for the whole family: Lloyd Center for the Environment, Demarest Lloyd State Park near Barney's Joy and Slocum's River Reserve. I provide a map with all of the local hiking/walking trails. Check out some of the sites that I've pinpointed in the guidebook for more ideas. Guests will have access to two bedrooms, living room, full bath and fully stocked kitchen. Fresh sheets, towels, soaps, shampoo and conditioner will be provided. Kitchen will have sugar, coffee, and tea and basic cooking spices. I will have English muffins, eggs,orange juice, butter, cream cheese, jams and half&half for you to use in your kitchen. You are welcome to cook with your own purchased groceries. I am so excited to share my private two bedroom apartment with guests, and help to make your stay as wonderful as possible! I will welcome you upon arrival, give you keys, answer any questions, and provide you with a list of activities, restaurants, and places to visit in the area. I'm always available to answer questions, and will give you my cell phone upon arrival in case of emergencies. You will wake up to the sounds of birds surrounded by nature and a block from the water. You can walk down with your coffee and sit on the dock of Marshalls boat yard and gaze out at the sailboats. My home is in a quiet close knit and peaceful community! The village of Padanaram is a short walk away with restaurants, beautiful shops, farmers market on Fridays and the dockside for ice cream right next too the drawbridge that takes you across the Apponagansett river. Wednesday night concerts at the park/beach along the river's edge. Farm and Coast market is a gem for groceries, baked goods, pizzas, sandwiches dinner and lots of specialty items. Parking in my driveway is simple! Not very accessible via public transport although there are buses to New Bedford, MA from Providence and Boston. Rental car agencies in Dartmouth. Other guests have used Uber for transportation. Garbage and recycling pickup is on Wednesday morning. The cans are located by the garage. The black top can is for paper and cardboard and the grey top can is for glass and plastics. Under the sink is a small can to keep items that should not be placed in the garbage. I will bring the cans out on Tuesday evening.Mowing is done each week on Wednesdays. It is rare that they come very early but I am not in control of the schedule. I have a washer/dryer that you may use..just let me know. Out back behind the garage is a clothes line for wet towels, bathing suits etc. There is a hose that is located in front of the house near the driveway. If you are coming from the beach please make sure to not bring sand into the house. The garage is not locked and you can store suitcases and anything else you may want to keep your apartment less cluttered.
