You can see the back of Widener Library in Harvard's Old Yard from the front door. Minutes away from the Harvard T-station with lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes, the apartment is a perfectly situated amongst the best of the in the Boston/Cambridge area. BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: Since this is my actual home, and not a vacation property, I only accept request: -From guest with complete profiles with a verified photo, 3 or more verifications (phone, Government ID are a must) and who are Airbnb Veterans. At this time, I no longer accept reservations from those who are new to Airbnb. -A well thought out and informative introductory message at the time of inquiry. - No 3rd party bookings or last minute additional guest. The person making the request needs to be the party staying in my home. Please be upfront about the amount of people and who will be staying (Max 2). This will result in the forfeiture of your stay. Business travelers are great! If you are with a company looking to book space for a client, please use the "Business" booking inquiry setting. -There is a 4 day minimum stay. Please do not book and then try to negotiate the number of days. Details: -Sensitive to sound? Yes, you can occasionally hear the T (Boston's subway system). This is the case for any building on Mass Ave. in Harvard sq. You are in the middle of the city/college campus. Please don’t expect it to be quiet. Ear plugs are provided should you need them. This is also a basement apartment. And there is a trash corral outside some of the windows. Please know that before you book! -This space is NOT suitable for small children, those who do not understand this is a home share and not a hotel, and those who cant handle city living in a small space. Guest access Besides a beautiful and convenient place to stay -This is a FULLY PRIVATE, FIRST FLOOR apartment with Bathroom, and kitchen. Nothing is shared. -1 full closet in the bedroom with iron, ironing board, and drying rack. There is not a dresser. -A rolling shopping cart that's handy for groceries. -The entire medicine cabinet in the bathroom is yours, and there's an additional rack in the shower. -There is a visitor parking pass for use (you have to be vigilant about all the rules that come with it's use), but if you can avoid bringing a car you should consider doing so. Other things to note Please note: Unfortunately, This space is NOT suitable for small children, those who do not understand this is a home share and not a hotel, and those who cant handle city living in a small space. Yes, the you would be staying alone. The reservation is for the entire space not just a room. Parking: It’s a very walkable city with solid public transportation. Parking is a nightmare. There is street metered parking . You have to move the car every two hours (except sunday) and they love giving tickets. Bring a car to Boston at your risk! Sensitive to sound?
