Escape to our charming Carriage House in the Historic District of Sherborn which offers the feel of a country retreat without being far from civilization. The space The Carriage House features two levels of living. On the ground floor, guests are greeted by a living space with a vaulted ceiling, hand-painted working fireplace, and unique details. The sofa transforms to a queen size bed featuring a memory foam mattress. A farmhouse dining table adjacent to the living room seats six comfortably. There is a full hardwood floor kitchen, including a stainless steel induction stove with oven and warming drawer, deep farmhouse sink, slim dishwasher, stainless steel fridge and under cabinet microwave, as well as small appliances. On the second floor, guests will find an original hay loft archway leading to the bedroom with a queen size bed (there is not a standard door). The full bathroom, complete with charming details and shower-tub, is also on the second floor. There is also a spacious loft with a writing desk and chair on the second floor. Guest access Guests have access to the entire Carriage House. While it is connected to the Main House by a door, the door is secured from both sides to ensure privacy. Guests are encouraged to explore the shared grounds (the courtyard, front yard, French garden, and backyard). Parking for the Carriage House and Main House is shared. Other things to note We provide coffee, tea, and sugar. While not baby-proofed, children of all ages are welcome. We can provide a travel crib, baby tub, and books and toys if needed. One cat and dog live in the Main House.
