My husband Calvin and I live on 2 acres just outside of Madisonville...since the kids are gone we have extra space ..you have your own bedroom and bathroom on the opposite of our bedroom with extra towels ,shampoo, conditioner,bodywash,toothpaste etc I also serve free Breakfast with fresh yardeggs until 9:00 a.m You can use the pool day or night as we have lighting ... The space ohh we have a great property with koi ponds Chickens and plenty of flowerbeds... Thanks to the Chickens we have fresh eggs and do serve a free breakfast Also there is a pool in the backyard surrounded by a deck and plenty of seating to enjoy a glass of wine ...just make yourself feel right at home! Lots of birds to watch ...we have 1parrot inside who wakes up by 8:00 in the morning and parakeets outside ... Only 40 minutes from downtown New Orleans with a scenic drive over Lake Pontchartrain ! Guest access inside the house just our bedroom is off limits! ...outside however you are free to go as you please ... During your stay me or my husband are here 24/7 so for any other inquirers one of us is always available... Other things to note There is no self checkin this is our home we live here and welcome you in.. The drive to downtown New Orleans is about 20 minutes once you get across the lake ... We have a Parrot inside so there is a noise factor …
