My husband Calvin and I live on 2 acres just outside of Madisonville...since the kids are gone we have extra space ..you have your own bedroom and bathroom on the opposite of our bedroom with extra towels ,shampoo, conditioner,bodywash,toothpaste etc I also serve free Breakfast with fresh yardeggs until 9:00 a.m You can use the pool day or night as we have lighting ... ohh we have a great property with koi ponds Chickens and plenty of flowerbeds... Thanks to the Chickens we have fresh eggs and do serve a free breakfast Also there is a pool in the backyard surrounded by a deck and plenty of seating to enjoy a glass of wine ...just make yourself feel right at home! Lots of birds to watch ...we have lovebirds and parakeets outside ... Only 40 minutes from downtown New Orleans with a scenic drive over Lake Pontchartrain ! inside the house just our bedroom is off limits! ...outside however you are free to go as you please ... me or my husband are here 24/7 so for any other inquirers one of us is always available... We live right out of town ..on 2 acres …i would say residential area overall this area has grown so much since the hurricane katrina The little town of Madisonville has a few great Restaurants and a very scenic drive to the Lake Pontchartrain ! There is the Abita Roasting place right by the river where you can have a great lunch and watch the boats go by.Mortons by the river serves great Louisiana cuisine from catfish to gumbo … there are car rentals available or uber ..you can park on our property ..plenty space here either me or my husband should be home most of the day so any questions we'll be here .. The drive to downtown New Orleans is about 20 minutes once you get across the lake ... I’d like for the guests to take their shoes off inside the house ...thank you!
