I provide a quiet, comfortable space to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring everything the QuadCities has to offer. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, within walking distance of Vander Veer Park and its beautiful fountains and botanical gardens! In our home you'll choose between two bedrooms. I accept one reservation at a time, and 4 adults fit very comfortably, depending on the makeup of your group. The rooms are directly across from each other, with a bathroom in between. There is never any overlapping of guests so the bathroom is exclusively yours during your stay. Making a reservation with 1 or 2 people gives you your choice of one bedroom. Making a reservation with 3 or more people gives you access to the second bedroom. Two people may reserve both bedrooms for an additional $10 per night. The first bedroom has a king sized bed, a single day bed, and a ceiling fan. The second bedroom has a beautiful queen sized canopy bed, ceiling fan, small sitting area, and a large desk. I also have 2 twin sized, self-inflating, air mattresses that fit perfectly in that bedroom and are equipped with sheets, blankets, and pillows. I can accommodate most sleeping arrangements if you tell me in advance what you'll need to make everyone comfortable. You may utilize the kitchen, living room, dining room, and laundry facilities. A television providing local channels and a Roku with Netflix is available for your use in the living room, or use your own devices to access the wireless internet connection. Please make yourself at home! Love coffee? Choose your brew! I have a stove top espresso maker, a programmable coffee maker, french press, coffee grinder, and a pour-over coffee dripper. I'm happy to set the timer on the programmable maker so you may have your coffee freshly brewed when you wake up. Included in your stay is a continental style, self-serve breakfast, fresh bed linens and towels, ironing board and iron, blow dryer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a collection of sample sized toiletries in case you forget something. We are people friendly, everybody is welcomed here, and we would be pleased to have you as guests in our home. We are conveniently located 4.5 miles from the I80 and US61 interchange. The Rock Island Arsenal is just down the hill, approximately 2 miles away. Nearby, you'll find Saint Ambrose University, Palmer School of Chiropractic studies, Downtown Davenport, Figge Art Museum, Putnam Museum and iMax Theatre, Casinos, Adler Theatre, the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, Centennial Park, Northpark Mall, and easy access to Bettendorf, Moline, & Rock Island. Quiet, older neighborhood, conveniently located near downtown Davenport and just a couple of blocks from Vander Veer park.
