The central location provides easy walking access to downtown Cooke City and trails, while the back yard/porch affords a southern exposure and privacy overlooking Soda Butte Creek and the Wilderness to the south of Cooke City. Well maintained classic Cooke City cabin. Opposed to many single room Cooke City cabins you will find for rent in the area, The Downtown Cabin offers separate living room, dining room and modern kitchen spaces as well as a bathroom that has a separate shower and jet tub! Cozy and warm living space, with great southern exposure deck that backs up to the Forest and a creek. For sleeping, there is a queen bed in the master bedroom, a queen size bed in the loft and a large comfortable fold out sofa with memory foam mattress in the living room. The space is a perfect place for families to spend time playing games and reminiscing about old times! Guests have access to the entire house and yard and all amenities it has. You may run into me on the property, as I live part time next door. I have a local property management company that helps out when small repairs or other issues come up, so someone is always available if necessary. 4 miles from the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Outstanding local bakery is located right across the street, so be careful if you have a sweet tooth :-) walking distance to everything in town and local hiking trails No public transportation, but lots to do in walking distance Cooke City has many restaurants in the summer to eat at, but for groceries there is just a small general store. The store has some groceries, but if you would like to have a larger selection of food to choose from, I recommend doing your grocery shopping in Cody, Livingston or Gardiner.
