The space Explore the Big Island from your own private home with a new pool, jacuzzi (built in October 2023) and a spacious backyard at the exclusive Waikoloa Beach Resort - close to the Big Island's best beaches, restaurants and nightlife. Mountain Sunrise is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom luxury villa that was completed in 2019 and features all new furniture, top-of-the-line appliances and whisper-silent central air conditioning. Located in Ainamalu, an environmentally conscious luxury community powered by Tesla solar panels, Mountain Sunrise boasts expansive views of four Big Island mountains - including two, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, which are snow capped in the winter. Mountain Sunrise is a private home with a large 760 square foot patio, a grass backyard and an outdoor kitchenette with a gas BBQ. The home has a spacious central living room and kitchen with high vaulted ceilings and glass sliding doors that open to the backyard and pool deck. The master bedroom features a king bed with an en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and soaking tub. On the other side of the main living space, the second bedroom has a king bed and the third bedroom has a twin bunk bed and an additional twin bed, bringing the home's sleep capacity to seven. Both bedrooms share a full bathroom with a shower and tub combo. Guests may park in the covered garage and use the beach gear provided. If you enjoy turn-key resort living and an environmentally focused community, Ainamalu is the perfect place to explore the Big Island's Kohala Coast. Amenities include wireless internet access at no additional charge, central air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer (detergent provided), iron and ironing board and hair dryer. Guests staying at Ainamalu will have access to use the Ainamalu Oasis with communal pool once the facility is completed (Please note: the start/completion date is still TBA). Parking for two vehicles is available. Ainamalu is a non-smoking property. Our resort office if located at the Mauna Lani Terrace and is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm for guests who need assistance, have questions or would like recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants, services, etc. We are also available after-hours to assist in case of a property-related emergency. A car rental is HIGHLY recommended, public transportation & taxi service is limited. Other things to note The State of Hawaii requires that we collect 17.962% tax in 2025 and 18.712% in 2026 on the rent and additional fees (which should be INCLUDED in the price). Tax rates are based on the dates of your stay and guests are responsible to pay all applicable taxes levied by the local authorities should there be a change.
