With an air conditioning, outdoor shower, Weber grill, hammock, and outdoor table & chairs, you'll be able to relax after a day at the beach. The space We love our charming home and hope you do too. It's a fully updated, classic Cape Cod cottage. The only house situated at the end of a short road, you'll enjoy rare privacy in this Hyannis Park area and access so many things to see and do. Relax in the cozy house or spend time outdoors in our cultivated gardens and yard. Birds, bees, and bunnies love the property and enhance your experience with nature. We have upgraded to the fastest Wi-fi available so you can do remote work at the comfortable desk and chair set up provided. You'll have a 32” flat screen Smart TV with Cable TV with a Blu Ray DVD player. The updated eat-in kitchen with original pine panelling has a refrigerator, stove, deep sink, and all the pots & pans and utensils you need to make delicious meals in the kitchen or at the outdoor charcoal Weber grill. The coffee/tea station includes a coffee maker, hot water maker, coffee, tea bags, toaster, and microwave. We also provide a full set of plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine glasses and cutlery for dining - indoors and outside. The living room has a comfy couch, Smart TV, a Blu ray DVD player, a DVD collection, several chairs, coffee table and a desk overlooking the property. A small book collection includes children's books for different ages. Upstairs are two bedrooms with great views of the property. The main bedroom has a queen size bed with a Tempur-pedic topper. The other bedroom has two twin beds. All beds have bedside reading lamps, tons of under bed storage, cotton linens and lots of blankets. The bedrooms have light-filled windows and skylights which allow for sea breezes to keep the rooms cool in the summer. Each bedroom has room darkening curtains and shades for the skylights. There is a cotton twin futon available as the fourth bed for a 5th person. It can be placed on the floor in one of the bedrooms or in the living room. Seasonally, there are fans and air conditioners in every room with an updated Mini Split system. In the cool months, there is heating throughout the house and an electric "fireplace" heater in the living room. The bathroom is on the first floor with a shower, vanity, and a bidet with the toilet. The outdoor shower is refreshing after a fun day at the beach. You'll have a Weber grill, table, chairs, double hammock and umbrella for al fresco dining. In the side and back yards, there's a lot of space for children to play and for relaxing. In the shed, you'll find beach chairs, a beach bag, beach, bodyboards and beach toys for your use during your stay. We cultivate vegetables and herbs during the warm months. You can harvest anything when it is in season (just leave some for the next guest!) We have blueberries, tomatoes, basil, oregano, tarragon, mint and strawberries- enjoy! On property, there is plenty of free parking - it's the only house on a quiet dead-end road. Leave your car at our home and walk to the Nantucket Ferry for a fun day trip or walk to the small harbor side Bayview beach just 2 blocks away! Guest access You'll have the whole house and property to yourself with free parking. Enjoy the calm and quiet, the private gardens and yards, the sea breezes and the New England vibe. Other things to note We provide fresh cotton bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, and paper goods during your stay. The kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans. We only use non-toxic house cleaners - better for you and the environment. We provide reusable shopping bags for your use during your stay. If you like to compost your kitchen waste, we have a compost bin in the back of our property for your use. Our cleaners clean all surfaces including doorknobs, tables, chairs, sinks and TV remote.
