Enjoy a cozy and rustic tiny home in our wooded community of Evaro. A short walk down a quiet country road will find you a friendly bar and restaurant. Bring your own food and cook outside on the gas grill and enjoy an evening under the stars with a campfire. Nestle up in your loft bed at the end of a full day of adventuring in the nearby trails. This is a rustic bungalow-style home amongst our family in the trees, built out of 100+ year old wood. This beautiful home has been lovingly built with antique wood, fitted with antique sliding windows, and opens with an antique door with no working lock. The loft is accessed with a ladder that is rollable so that it can be stowed out of the way while you enjoy reading or playing games in the downstairs room. Once in the loft, by manner of design, you are afforded privacy while still being able to enjoy the view out the windows, and most windows on the lower level have either hide or lace curtains and folding panels are inside that can be used for additional privacy if desired. Remember that an occasional ant or spider will try to make its home in these old timbers, and we are always working at keeping them at bay, but please know that you might have a few tiny co-guests during your stay. Enjoy a body pillow upstairs, and a generously sized bean-bag chair down below for comfy snuggling. A propane grill is nearby for outdoor cooking, as well as a simple electric burner inside. Stay cozy warm with two electric heaters and a heated mattress pad. The tiny home does not have running water - this means no toilet or sink inside the home itself. Fresh drinking water is in the fridge, an old fashioned wash basin is set up inside the home, and there is a shared bathroom in the near-by building that also doubles as a laundry room which you may use. You will be situated not too far from our home, and nearby you will see our little house and barn, and you may catch us in the middle of a building project or other activity. Enjoy walking around our woods or playing in the field. When fire season permits, you can enjoy a personal campfire or join us in the field for a bonfire! You may use the shared bath- laundry- room in the nearby building. We are usually nearby if you need anything! The tiny home is situated near our home and barn. Near by you'll see our home, barn, and chicken coop. It is a fairly quiet place and you can expect to see wildlife passing through, and you’ll most likely see us going about our business. Peaceful Evaro Hill. A pleasant walk or drive about 1/2 mile down the quiet country road are the friendly Evaro Bar and Restaurant and the Bucksnort Restaurant. About 6 miles north on Hwy 93 is the Grey Wolf Casino. About 15 miles south is Missoula with everything else. Enjoy walking around the place or down to the bar and restaurant. Drive to town. The tiny home is about 15 minutes from Missoula, 15 miles from the Kettlehouse. In your booking please be sure to include all people and pets in your party as only authorized guests and pets are allowed on the premises, thank you! Please understand there is no lock on the door at this time. The neighborhood is safe and we are nearby, but if this arrangement doesn’t work for you, then this is not the place for you.
