Classic Summer Cottage

Stay at a classic summer cottage, in the Wellfleet woods, yet conveniently located a 5 minute drive from downtown Wellfleet. Built in 1938 by 4 women, it still has much of it's original charm. The great room has wood paneling and a cathedral ceiling. This common area has natural wood floors and a fireplace. 2 cozy bedrooms and a small kitchen and bathroom complete the scene. The space Nothing fancy here, but a comfortable, grounded, old fashioned feeling of rest and relaxation! This place is very rustic and a throw back to "Old Cape Cod" It is a seasonal place and gets closed up every winter, so there is no central heating or cooling system. Fans, a small window air conditioner and a small space heater are available for your comfort, along with the natural shade and shelter of the trees. People have enjoyed this cottage for over 80 years! Guest access This cottage is in the back, up a long dirt driveway. To get to it we have to pass through the neighbor's property. Please be respectful of their peace and privacy and proceed directly to the cottage. There you will find a welcoming, somewhat secluded, little treasure in the woods. There is easy parking for 2 or 3 cars. Arriving in daylight, if possible, is recommended because it's easier to get oriented before dark.
