Relaxing South Shore Cabin on Lake

Our spacious, four bedroom lakefront cabin is situated on the calm SE corner of Clear Lake. The family and pet-friendly retreat is perfect for 2-11 guests offering an open kitchen and living space with stunning views of sunrises over the lake. Our cabin is a family treasure, not an income property. We selectively share it with guests to offset costs. The space Along the south shore, the lakeside terrain varies wildly. We are fortunate to be just a few steps above the water. The cabin is a two story with a walk-out lower level. Main/Upper Level: • Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, ceiling fan and TV. The larger room has room for a twin air mattress or pack-n-play • Full bathroom with shower/tub combo with grab bars • Kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cooking oil and spices. Open format with a large island for casual dining, crafting and cookie-making • Living area adjoins kitchen offering two large sofas, a rocker, large TV and stunning views of the lake • Large deck off the kitchen with outdoor seating and gas grill Lower Level: • The large bedroom has a king bed, 43" TV, white-washed tongue & groove ceiling for a beachy look. With a picture window looking directly out to the lake. The sun rise view from bed over the lake is amazing...and bright! There is an open mudroom area that offers great overflow sleeping with a twin over full bunk. • The smaller bedroom has a queen bed and TV. It's dark and cozy and makes a great napping room! • There is unfinished space where the furnace, tools, new washer & dryer live. This is the route to the half bathroom. • The bathroom rustic, meaning built on a deck-type floor and is not finished with traditional materials. It definitely serves the purpose, especially with a full house. • Theirs is a open area at the bottom of the stairs that opens to the outside. This room is for overflow sleeping with a twin over full bunk bed. Open storage shelves hold all the standard array of lakeside necessities for our boating, sunscreening and bug repelling. In the off-season, this room houses patio cushions and floaties. • Just outside the lower level door is cozy patio with an outdoor sectional and makes for a lovely place to nap or enjoy the evening. It is partially weather proof so it is a great place to watch a storm skirt across the north side of the lake. It's the best spot to spend an evening during warmer month, other then on the end of the dock. Guest access Seasonal access to 2 kayaks, floaties, assortment of life jackets and fishing poles, 100'-ish of wooden dock. No use of boats. Visiting boats may tie up to the dock for short stays if the weather and lake conditions are favorable. Do not leave boat or personal water crafts tied to the dock overnight or during windy or rough conditions as the stress will damage the dock.
