Harbor Place - Airy hideaway over Rockport Harbor

Enjoy stunning views of Rockport Harbor and the Atlantic from Harbor Place, a breezy, quiet open-floorplan bnb on Tuna Wharf, steps from the galleries, shops and restaurants of bustling Bearskin Neck. You'll be within easy strolling distance of several beaches, the train station, the Shalin Liu Performance Center, kayak rentals, walking paths, parks and boat tours. Relax and enjoy the view, eat in or out, lounge on our private beach! Access to Harbor Place is via staircase. The space We look forward to having you visit us at Harbor Place! Harbor Place is a sparkling clean, open floor-plan condominium on the 2nd floor of a building at the end of Tuna Wharf, a pedestrian walkway off of Bearskin Neck. We opened as an Air BnB for the first time in August, 2021. The living area holds a queen sized bed and a twin-sized fold-out sofa bed, two rocking chairs, and a small dining table with chairs. The windows overlook Rockport Harbor and it's fun to just sit, enjoy the breeze and watch the boats go by. You'll hear the waves lapping against the wharf, the halyards creaking and the gulls calling you to come out and explore. There is a full kitchen and a bathroom with shower. You'll also have access to one private parking space on Bearskin Neck, and a mini-deck where you can set up a couple of chairs and look out to sea, or watch the people on Bearskin Neck or the breakwater. Guest access Rockport is a walking town, and you can leave your car in your private parking space and get to beaches, restaurants and other attractions on foot. The train to Gloucester and beyond to Boston is less than a mile away, or take a drive and enjoy the beaches, restaurants and historic attractions in nearby Gloucester, Essex ,Ipswich and Salem. Other things to note Tuna Wharf is a pedestrian walk way - cars are not allowed. This means it's quiet, but also that you can't drive right up to the door. Parking is about 200 feet away, around the corner on Bearskin Neck. There are front and rear stairs to Harbor Place .
