With a private entrance, walk-in shower, lanai and kitchenette, it is a welcoming studio on the lower level of The Koi House, where you can enjoy a shared pool set beside a nature reserve and immerse yourself in laid back Hawaiian living. The Pohaku Studio is the perfect homebase for all of your adventures and a 10 min drive from the heart of Kailua-Kona. The space The Pohaku Studio is a private apartment in The Koi House by Vera Hawaii, an expansive home with multiple rentals, thoughtfully designed with eco-minded touches throughout. The hosts live in the main part of the house above the studio. The entire unit is intentionally designed to incorporate natural elements such as stone, crystal, petrified wood to create an authentic earthy vibe.The Pohaku Studio features a Queen-sized bed, kitchenette with custom concrete countertop, built-in seating area with a lava stone table, a bathroom with mango wood accents, stone sink and custom tiled walk-in shower. The kitchenette comes fully equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, induction stove, french press coffee maker, utensils and cookware. Your private lanai offers a tranquil spot to savor your morning coffee. Guests also have access to the grill just outside the suite. Enjoy a casual and friendly vibe at The Koi House when you hang out by the pool to indulge in some reading, catch some sun and take a refreshing dip. In the evenings, grill up some dinner under the pool string lights. To make your stay comfortable, The Pohaku Studio is well stocked with amenities like deluxe toiletries, Turkish beach towels, cooler basket, clothes steamer and iron, yoga gear, reef safe sunscreen, insect repellent and more. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment with a private entrance, as well as the pool area. Other things to note Please note, the apartment does not have air conditioning. The Pohaku Studio is equipped with 2 fans, as well as multiple window fans. Please keep this in mind when booking, as we know it is important to some travelers. Washer/dryer use is available for $5 per load. Please inquire with the host. The Koi House has a friendly vibe and you may cross paths with other guests in common areas. Guests will have to walk down a flight of stairs from the parking area down to the unit.
