The updated decor is mid century modern with tropical accents to honor the building’s history which is reminiscent of Old Hawaii. The condo has everything you need for either a short or extended stay. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and enjoy meals from fresh, local ingredients. Updated furnishings offer a relaxing atmosphere in this light and bright unit. We provide towels, linens, bath tissue and other toiletries. One designated parking space is provided directly in front of your room. While the north shore trade winds naturally keep the unit cool, we have recently added AC units to all living spaces to keep you comfortable during warmer months. Kuau plaza is located in a quiet residential area of Paia that is steps away from a small beach/lagoon and the award winning restaurant, Mamas Fish House (Maui's # 1 restaurant). Famous Hookipa beach is 1 mile to your right and the historic sugar mill town of Paia is one mile to your left. You can spend the day at the small beach, walk through the small neighborhood to Kuau store (Sundries and great breakfast/lunch items at the deli) or plan a trip for your next adventure on the island from this central location. A rental car is recommended. There is a BUS stop that is near the condo. Walking to and from town is do-able but not recommended due to the narrow shoulder on the Hana HWY. As with most of the homes and rentals along the beach on the North Shore, Kuau Plaza is near the Road to Hana and can possibly be bothersome for those sensitive to road noise.
