Cajun Room at Magnolia House of Crowley

Experience the grace and charm of Southern Hospitality at Magnolia House, located in the heart of Cajun Country, Louisiana. Built in 1894, located one block from historic downtown Crowley, walking distance to restaurants, the Grand Opera House of the South, City Hall museum, and local parks. Only 20 miles from Downtown Lafayette. The space The Cajun Room is located upstairs and has a queen size bed with a comfortable mattress and linens, ceiling fan, and extra blankets if needed. Closet with hangers for hanging clothes and a luggage rack for suitcase. There is a shared bathroom, with amenities including fresh towels, washcloths, hair dryer, curling iron, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other toiletries. I only rent to one party at a time so you won’t be sharing the bathroom unless it’s with people you know. Guest access Guests have access to their private room, with a lock on door and individual key, and Do Not Disturb sign. There is a restroom upstairs. the TV room and kitchen. There is also a sitting room downstairs with tv and coffee bar for guests to enjoy. Guests have Wifi throughout the house and a coffee bar in TV room. Guests may park in driveway or on street. Feel free to make yourself at home when you arrive, let me know if there is anything else you need (i.e. iron, steamer etc) Enjoy the swing on the front porch or the upstairs balcony for a glass of wine at night or a cup of coffee in the morning. During your stay I live downstairs, with guest rooms all upstairs, and an additional door to close for privacy. I try to give my guests their privacy, but am available for information. I work during the week so I will not be around during the day. If you need any help just ask, it's never a bother! I am happy to offer suggestions of places to eat, drink or adventures off the beaten path in southwest Louisiana. I am flexible with my guests on check-in and checkout times because I know how life can get crazy, just let me know. I look forward to meeting you!
