We would love to have you stay at our home. ONLY 5 minutes from Old Sturbridge Village and the Brimfield Antique and Collectibles Show! Also, close to local breweries, tourist attractions, wedding destinations, the airports, and the 3 largest cities in MA. (one hour from both Logan International and Bradley International Airports.) Perfect for couples, singles, or business travelers. The space In-law unit including 3 rooms with a bedroom, living room and kitchenette, as well as private bathroom with shower. Full sized bed with a roll-a-way twin available. This walk-out basement "apartment" has the essentials to make you stay more enjoyable. Included are a microwave, refrigerator and regular and Keurig coffee pot! “Continental" style breakfast including instant oatmeal, granola bars, fruit and yogurt. It also has a private patio should you like to sit outside. This would be a nice place to smoke if you happen to be a smoker. PLEASE NOTE! We DO NOT have air conditioning! The space typically runs about 68-72 degrees in the summer and is quite comfortable with the dehumidifier running and we do provide fans, but with a multi-day heat wave, it may be a bit warmer. Guest access There is a private entrance which is accessible through the backyard. This is a partial gravel/grassy lawn area which all together is approximately 75 feet from where you park to where you enter the apartment. During winter months we may prefer you come through the house depending how much snow/ice there is! Other things to note Our street is very dark as we have no street lights. The directions are very important to note and it would be even more helpful to have perused the photos of the backyard where you will enter to reach your lower level patio. We have solar lights and we try very hard to remember to put on all outside lights to also help you navigate should you arrive in the evening, but sometimes we are out and not home in time to do so. Please also remember that this home is owner-occupied and we reside on the floors above you. We are extremely conscientious and try our very best to walk quietly etc. but you will likely still hear residual noise. If you are a light sleeper it has been suggested by other guests that you bring ear plugs. Others have said it is super quiet, so who knows!
