Our warm and spacious home welcomes you, in a cozy private room with brand new queen bed, near bathroom (shared only if we have guests in our other room). We live on the other side of the house with our friendly dog, Skye. There's a lounge near your room with coffee/tea and a mini-fridge, and a self-serve continental breakfast is available upon request. No smoking anywhere on the premises, please. Free off street parking. We are close to a bike path, walking trails, and a lovely reservoir. The space This is a cozy private room in a nice 5 bedroom house on a quiet dead end street. The room is near the bathroom on the second floor. The house is on the East side of Lexington, near the Arlington border, a few blocks from shops and restaurants. Suburban location is best with a car, or combo car/subway, see details on bus/subway and public transport options and hours. There is another room available in the same house for booking separately, or you can book both rooms if available. (See our profile for details on booking options for more than 2 people). Bathroom is shared only with other guests if our other room is booked separately. We sometimes need to walk through the hallway outside the rooms, in order to get to our own bedroom, but for the most part it is separated from our living quarters. Please answer the questions in "details to note" when requesting to book. Guest access We like having guests and meeting new people, but we also understand (and also have) the need for privacy. Most of our guests are out and about, it's not a "vacation home," however we wish to make your stay as comfortable as possible! We are always available by text to answer questions or concerns. During your stay We live here, and we are happy to share conversation at times, but also appreciate mutual respect for privacy. You can always text for answers to questions. Other things to note IMPORTANT: When making a request or inquiry, we always like to know a bit more about the people that we welcome into our home, especially those new to airbnb or with no reviews, so we have a few questions I hope you'll take the time to answer: 1) Please send the full names and ages of each guest staying here. (Local law requires that we keep a log). 2) Can you tell us a little about yourselves? Why you're visiting the area, from where, etc? 3) Have you read our entire detailed description? It's very important that you do, so that we know it's a good fit. 3) Will you have a car? (If not, please read the description of our location carefully). 4) What time frame do you anticipate for your arrival? Thanks for answering these questions.
