Description

Private guesthouse beside our 1882 Victorian house on vibrant Magazine St. provides a luxurious, super clean & serene environment in the heart of city living. Contemporary design with old New Orleans architectural charm. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants, cafes, boutiques, musi antique shops & art galleries. 7 short blocks to the St. Charles Streetcar, which will take you Uptown and to the French Quarter. We are committed to keeping the space healthy, sanitized & worry free for guests The space LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! *SERENE* COZY + CHIC MAGAZINE ST. GETAWAY!! guesthouse /gĕst′hous″/ noun A small house or cottage adjacent to a main house, used for lodging guests. Our immaculately maintained guesthouse is an exceptional space with original artworks, incredibly romantic natural light, original 1882 hardwood floors, and 12-foot ceilings. You'll have your own private entrance with a comfortable sitting area on the porch overlooking the famed Magazine Street, lined with majestic oak trees.

The space accommodates two people very comfortably. The Saatva™ queen mattress has opulent 600 thread count bedding and a goose down comforter. The custom full bath has a walk-in shower made of a volcanic ash material from Santorini, Greece. And of course, air conditioning to provide a nice cool escape from those warm New Orleans days.

The porch is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea, and a glass of wine or cocktail in the evening. Southeastern breezes provide an enchanting fragrance from the sweet olive tree that shades the front garden of the apartment.

The guesthouse is equipped with dishes, silverware, a small fridge, microwave, French press coffee maker with coffee, electric kettle, and an assortment of tea. While we do not have a full kitchen, our guests can enjoy and explore all of our fantastic restaurants and food options – some of the city's best restaurants, cafes and bars are within blocks of the guesthouse!

The open and airy apartment is in the center of all of the action on Magazine Street but is set back off the street to provide a quiet nest-like refuge in the midst of all of the urban energy of the city. Walk to Tipitina’s, art galleries, restaurants, shopping, and cafe’s. During Carnival season, there are Mardi Gras parades that roll right in front of your door, starting several days before Mardi Gras day. Marching bands, floats, kings and queens, flambeau carriers, dancing troupes – it is truly a magical experience!! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire guesthouse that has a private entrance and is not shared with anyone. Guests will also have access to their own porch area located directly outside of the apartment. Other things to note If you have a vehicle, there is free street parking in our neighborhood, usually right in front of the house. Registration Details 23-NSTR-17304, 24-OSTR-03900
