The space After a full day soaking in the beauty of Glacier National Park, return to a quiet, comfortable retreat where you can unwind, relax, and enjoy a restful night’s sleep in our welcoming two-story guest house. Each unit is thoughtfully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker (with complimentary pods), a microwave, and a mini refrigerator/freezer—perfect for easy mornings and simple meals. Our shared outdoor-access kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals or pack a lunch for your next adventure, and you’re welcome to enjoy the barbecue grill and outdoor dining table for a laid-back evening. For added convenience, a shared laundry room is available on the ground floor. Tucked away in the historic area once known as McCarthyville, this peaceful setting offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle. While there is no cell service, WiFi is available (though it may be a bit slower due to our remote location). We’re ideally located along Highway 2 between Glacier National Park and the Great Bear Wilderness. Just beyond the back of the property, the nearby railroad tracks mark the southern boundary of the park. To help you unwind in the evenings, each room includes a TV and DVD player, with a selection of DVDs available in the outdoor kitchen. Guest access Make yourself at home during your stay. The private deck is a wonderful spot to sip your morning coffee or relax in the evening before settling in for a peaceful night’s sleep. Take time to enjoy the front meadow or wander through the surrounding woods—you’re welcome to explore the property at your leisure. We simply ask that you be mindful and respectful of other guests and our neighbors. The shared outdoor-access kitchen is located on the lower level of the guest house, and you’re welcome to use both the kitchen and the laundry room. Laundry detergent and fabric softener are provided for your convenience. Other things to note When you book your stay with Airbnb, I’ll send you a detailed message with easy, step-by-step directions to help you find our place. Before heading into Glacier National Park, be sure to fill up your gas tank—there are no gas stations within the park boundaries. If you’re traveling east, you can stop at Bear Track Travel Center in East Glacier. If you’re coming from the west, there are gas stations in Belton and West Glacier. It’s one of Glacier’s lesser-known treasures—easy to miss, but well worth a stop. Even when the water flow is low, the formation itself is fascinating, and if you take a moment to explore, you’ll discover just how special it is. Goat Lick About two miles southeast of the Walton Ranger Station along Highway 2, this spot offers a chance to see mountain goats and other wildlife up close as they gather at mineral-rich cliffs. A short, paved path leads to an observation area overlooking the Middle Fork of the Flathead River—an easy and rewarding stop with incredible views.
