We are .6 miles from St. Luke’s Hospital which is perfect for traveling medical professionals. There are options for creating a conducive work from home office space. The apartment is well stocked with everything you would need for a getaway. The apartment is accessed through a gate on the left side of the house past a modest garden space with a private entrance which opens into the kitchen. Our space offers one bedroom with a queen bed and a futon in the parlor for additional guests. The kitchen is spacious with all that you need for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of room to spread out. The exterior of the house is well-lit with motion sensor lights and the interior has plug-in nightlight type motion lights as well. Parking is almost always available directly in front of the house for ONE guest vehicle. Please park any other guest vehicles on adjacent side streets. Please pay close attention to New Bedford’s infamous one-way streets. Our house is over 100 years old so there are some quirks. We live upstairs and are available to help make your stay 100% enjoyable. The house has one thermostat and it is in our owner’s unit. We keep it toasty when it’s cold out and there are “fireplace” style space heaters in the parlor and bedroom for added heat and a touch of ambience. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you need more or less heat. On occasion you may hear footsteps because we live on the second floor but I assure you we don’t wear clogs while bowling when we have guests:)
