3bd/2ba home in the heart of Metairie only minutes from NOLA. Located in high demand area, steps from Lake Ponchartrain, centrally located between NOLA and airport, close to EJGH and Lakeside Mall. This home boasts a spacious, open floorplan and big backyard with plenty of room to mingle. About a 10-20 min drive to NOLA/airport, Uber usually around $10 to $20. Located in a safe neighborhood, park your car worry free. Guest will enjoy the lake and the paved bike path which goes to NOLA/Kenner. The space - The home is centrally located, between the airport and New Orleans (NOLA), approx. 10 minutes to the city and 10 minutes to the airport. - We have a huge driveway, with plenty of off street parking for large groups. There is room to park off street for approx 6 vehicles. - The house is a block from Lake Ponchartrain, there is a bike path that will take you to NOLA or Treasure Chest Casino. The section of the Lake by the house has a small pond, perfect for fishing. - The house is also within a mile of East Jefferson General Hospital. Please let me know if you are booking specifically to be near the hospital. Extended stays are acceptable and I will work with you on the price. - Located in the heart of Metairie, guests are 5 minutes from Lakeside Shopping Center and plenty of great restaurants. - New Orleans is close by, the cost for a short Uber ride to the city (10-15 minutes) is about $10 - $20, for events the price goes up as power demand. There is also a bus stop located a block away from the house. My home is located in a very safe neighborhood, it's quiet and you can relax without all of the noise from the city when you want. It's clean and cozy, and ready to be your home away from home. We also provide adult "just in case" amenities, such as individually packaged razors, toothpaste, soap, lotion, sunscreen, assorted teas, coffee, creamer, sugar, spices, and much more! Our #1 goal is to provide every guest a stress free vacation! Let us know what we can do to ensure your trip is perfect!** Guest access All bedrooms are accessible, as well as the backyard, the bathrooms, the kitchen, and the front rooms. Guest accessible cabinets, closets, drawers will have a sign stating "Guest Acess" **Laundry room is not open to guests unless specifically requested, and an additional fee will be applied per day used. **The refrigerator is accessible to guest. Host food, condiments, etc are locked in the drawers and should not be used by guests. Guests are welcome to items accessible in the fridge. **Guests may not access the locked closets or locked dressers, (clothing racks and storage cubes are supplied in the bedrooms). Additionally, guests may not access the attic, the shed in the backyard, or any area in the home that has been locked, zip tied, or has a sign noting "please, no guest access" ** Other things to note The home: This house is definitely your home away from home. The location is in an upper middle class neighborhood, with great neighbors and is very safe and quiet. It is very clean and has an open floor plan with a huge backyard right off the living room. It is a family home, kids will feel comfortable running around in the backyard, parents will feel comfortable as the double glass doors allow a full view of the entire backyard. The rooms have plenty of space for group visits, the beds are comfortable and we also have multiple air mattresses for larger groups greater than 9. For the itty bitties, we have a pack n play, feeding chair, stroller, outlet covers that we will be happy to set up, just let me know in advance. Also, the guest bathroom has a training lid built in for those that are potty training! It's a lovely, quiet, spacious home, ready for your visit!
