Welcome to Frankin! This is a beautiful Victorian duplex that is close to everything you need. The house is divided down the middle. One side of the house is the rental and my wife and I live on the other side. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Northampton and just minutes from Smith College. There is also a nice park a couple of blocks down the road as well! Beautiful Victorian house located in great neighborhood less than a mile from downtown Northampton and a short walk to Smith College in one direction and a nice park in the other direction. Perfect house to rent for graduation, alumni weekends, weddings or just a nice visit to Northampton! There is tons to do in the area so you won't be bored for sure. There are four large bedrooms, three rooms have Queen-sized beds and one room has a full-sized bed. The main feature is the spacious living room with a large wrap-around leather couch, recliner, and a large flat-screen TV. This area is adjacent to the kitchen with a bay window dining area. The next room over features a full-size pool table. The next room is a large bedroom with a queen-sized bed. There are two full baths (One on the first floor and one on the second floor. There is also a laundry room on the first floor with an iron and ironing board. For the warmer months, you can enjoy the outside deck with a gas grill, a large backyard with gardens and a sitting area, as well as a 2nd-floor sun porch which provides a nice sitting area to read and hang out. Off-street parking for up to 4 cars as well as ample street parking. Also walking distance to the PVTA bus line and Peter Pan/Greyhound bus terminal. At the end of Franklin st, there is access to a bike path that will take you for miles in either direction. Please note that as this is an old Victorian house, one of the two staircases is a bit steep and narrow. You will have access to the whole house including a full kitchen, spacious living room, pool table, wireless internet, and a large flat-screen TV. There are many nice walks right out the door including a nice small park just minutes from the house. The house is located within walking distance of the local PVTA bus line. Also, at the end of Franklin Street is an access point to a bike path that will allow you to bike for many miles in each direction.
