Cottage in the woods.

I am currently not booking the cottage for February and March. We had 3 feet of snow on top of the recent foot. Access is impossible as the driveway is over 1,000ft. A bulldozer outweighs the return. Stay warm and safe. see you in the Spring The space Located 1,000 ft. down a gravel driveway, my cottage is nestled in a heavily wooded setting. Don't be surprised if you see deer or wild turkeys. This cottage is only 1100 s/f but feels larger with the 19ft. ceiling throughout the main level. There are two covered seating areas on the deck as well as other areas off deck. There is a gas grill and a new outdoor fireplace and gazebo; firewood included . The cottage is in a suburban community with a rural setting. Providence RI is 12 minutes away. Summers are cooled by window unit AC(it's New England and Temps are usually cool). The main level has 1 1/2 baths, kitchen, living rm and master bed (queen size). A second bedroom is accessed via the spiral stairs(lower level). It has a queen bed and full bathroom with a walk in shower. Bedding for both is high quality by Matouk Manufacturing in Fall River MA. The cottage is surrounded by gardens and they change yearly. There's a walking path leading to the cider orchard. If you're in the city; NYC or Boston and looking for a total wooded experience this is the place for you. It's just off a major highway yet a few minutes from PVD. Gardens surround the cottage...... Guest access Upon arrival, a lock box provides the key for entry. There's a closet in the foyer for your coats and other hanging items. Bureau and dresser provide plenty of space to unpack and feel at home. The kitchen pantry is stocked with basic food/spice items as well as pots, pans and other cooking tools. Feel free to use the coffee/tea station as well as any goodies that may be around. ☆☆☆☆no parties please. Other things to note Smoking is allowed OUTDOORS only. A $250 cleaning fee charged for indoor smoking. Nest Thormostat and smoke /carbon monoxide devices are in place. Currently I am starting a fruit orchard. There are 1,500 trees 1,000ft walk via a wooded path. There is a small natural Vernal Pool(youtube for info) 25ft. from the cottage during the spring. It dries out by July... Just info if you have small children. The Spring Peepers are loud and start their mating calls in the pool late March and April. The peeping noise is an awesome spring ritual. 3,500 tulips start in late April Nest smoke detectors are located throughout the cottage. At night, they glow with movement for exit safety. November 6 , 2019 newly installed well water filtration system. The water is tasteless as it's meant to be . The well is over 500ft deep, enjoy.
