Easy 10 minute walk to town. 600 square foot cottage a 10 minute walk to Vineyard Haven. Only 2 people . Lovely gardens, picnic table and gas grill in backyard. Off street parking. Minimum 5 night stay. All sheets and bath towels are provided. Beach towels too! Keurig coffee maker and some pods. Bring your favorite pods if you wish. There is a Bose radio with cd player or plug your iphone into the radio. There are some cd's but bring your favorite. You have use of the entire cottage and back yard with gas grill and picnic table. Vineyard Have is a 10 minute easy walk. Beaches and restaurants are walking distance. We live in the house next door so we are available to our guests if they need us. The cottage is in an old quiet neighborhood close to town. There is a full kitchen, Silverware, plates, glasses pots and pans. All that you would have in your kitchen. There is a dishwasher (detergent) washer and dryer (detergent). Ice maker in the freezer. Toilet paper, paper towels , bath towels, sheets,etc. There is even a hair dryer. Soap and most other stuff! We have a wonderful Vineyard outdoor shower for you to use too! Taking an outdoor shower is the "thing to do" There is great bus service all over the island. If you want to bring a car over, you must make reservations with the steamship authority. The earlier the better during the summer season especially. You have access to the entire cottage, private back yard and front yard. Pick fresh tomatoes, asparagus, strawberries and flowers in season!!! There is parking in front of cottage. I am always available next door to answer any questions or give you any advice. Little Lobster is a 10 minute walk to downtown Vineyard Haven and the steamship authority if you come into Vineyard Haven. There is a parking place right in front of Little Lobster for one car. The bus service on the Vineyard is excellent and you can buy weekly passes that will take you anywhere on the island. If you plan to drive over for your vacation, the steamship authority is the only way to get your car to Martha’s Vineyard. If you want to bring a car to Little Lobster please call the Steamship to make your car reservation immediately. It is VERY hard to get your car on if you wait till Spring or Summer. Call them for a reservation ASAP. (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) I f you drive and want to leave your car in Palmer Avenue parking lot it is $15. Per calendar day. If you want to rent a car on Martha’s Vineyard in July or August it is very expensive. Please remember that the cottage only accommodates 2 persons and children are people.
