PETS are not allowed by the HOA, they are strict and will write up a situation if you bring a pet on the property without HOA approval and you may be asked to vacate. You are close to Kualoa Ranch, Chinamen's Hat park, Polynesian Cultural Center, BYU, Haleiwa and all the famous surfing spots. Waikiki is about 40 minutes, and the airport is about 45. Kailua is 35 minutes and has beautiful beaches as well. The location is ideal, food trucks galore, beach front driving, fishing, hiking and camping near by. When you pull off the Kamehameha Hwy and enter Pat's it's like stepping back into time. It's sunrise and golden sunset, lapping waves on the sand-you could really just relax under a palm tree and never leave except to swim & eat. Parking is free and there is an assigned spot with a parking sticker to put in your car. If you have a 2nd car please advise and we will show you where you can park free outside property. You will need car as we are 45 minutes from the airport. The city bus does stop in front and will take you around the island, and is very inexpensive if you have the time. PLEASE NOTE: call your rental company ahead of time and make sure you arrive before they close. We are 45 min from the airport, if you arrive after 10 pm you may want to spend a night near the airport so you have your car.
