Come to the place where the buffalo roam! Relax in our beautiful handcrafted cabin with one full bedroom and two oversized lofts. Take a stroll on a 1.6 mile trail to view America’s National Mammal. 3 miles from I-80. Stay connected with our reliable wifi or unplug to enjoy the sounds of nature from the wrap around deck and firepit. Bring your own food to grill or purchase bison burgers from our onsite retail store. Close to dining and recreation! Stunning sunsets at Sunset Hills Bison Ranch! The space The cabin is located on a 5 acre property with horses, bison and other small animals and birds. We are surrounded by wide open land! Guests have access to large outdoor space as well as walking paths. A seasonal 1.6 mile walking trail round our bison enclosure is peaceful but may be unavailable due to the bison herd dynamics. Safety is our number one concern. Please note we have two Glamping Sites on the adjacent property that sits near the trail and bison enclosure. Other guests and ranch owners may be on the 1.6 mile trail also. Guest access Guests have access to a walking path weather permitting! Other things to note Our cabin is located on our working ranch. We specialize in Agritourism. We also have a retail store with novelty items, bison meat and farm fresh eggs available. We have trailer, camper and semi parking available if needed. We have a black lab named Brandy that may come say hello! She looks intimidating, but she is a ginormous love bug. But if she bugs you, let us know and we will come get her! Please note that during the months of September - December we do have crops to harvest. This means there will be heavy machinery and tractors on property and the dryers on the grain bins may be running. These dryers are loud and will be heard from the cabin. Additionally, I would like it to be clear that the cabin does not have a full size stove, oven or dishwasher. We do have an electric countertop stove, and a Ninja countertop oven. Hosts live on site in neighboring farmhouse. We are available via call/text or pop on over. We like to give guests as much space as possible, but we are always excited to share our bison knowledge and give a more in-depth tour of our ranch.
