Location offers easy access to Boston (35 miles east), Worcester (10 miles west) and easy highway access to Cape Cod, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island. Wooded trails out back lead to 300+ acre pond and Westborough Charm Bracelet trails. Sunny south-facing bedroom with adjoining private bath. Train to Boston is a 1/2 mile walk. Note that the bed frame in the photo broke, and the mattress (brand new) is on the floor. Guests have said it is very comfortable but it is lower than the photo. Quiet spot with huge wooded open space right in backyard with a trail leading out to the woods and pond. The bedroom and adjoining bathroom with shower are in a separate area from the hosts' living quarters, offering privacy and comfort. Sunny south-facing bedroom. Garage can be used for safe storage (e.g., bicycles). Cellar has washer and dryer guests can use. Upstairs kitchen is available for cooking, may need to coordinate or share use. Back porch is a nice sunny place in warm weather. Morning coffee (local roaster Armeno's) (or tea) served upstairs for guests, and breakfast we normally stock - milk, bread, some cereals, etc. Host can offer information on restaurants, shopping, travel logistics (e.g., commuter train schedule and information), and nearby attractions in Worcester and Boston. Complimentary pickup/drop-off from commuter rail station (Westborough stop) can often be arranged, depending on schedules. House is on a long dead end street with limited traffic. Quiet residential neighborhood where most neighbors know each other. Yet major shopping centers and restaurants are only a mile away such as Target, Walmart, Stop & Shop. Hundreds of acres of open space right out back door leading to a pond with extensive trail system. Free parking on site. Commuter rail station is only a half-mile away with trains to Boston and points in between and to Worcester, with connections in both cities to Amtrak and buses. In Boston, commuter rail connections to Logan and subway at South Station. Close to major interstates: Mass Turnpike (I-90), I-495 and I-290. Boston is a 45 minute drive. Providence, Rhode Island and Cape Cod are an hour’s drive. Queen-sized bed (new in December 2022). Pets okay, but we prefer you do not depend on leaving them alone for more than a couple of hours.
