The front has a lanai that is enjoyable to sit and look out at the coconut palm trees, bamboo and Ohia trees. If you could see through the trees 5 miles down would be he Ocean. Guest access Drive 900 feet up your private road and park under the covered Parking in front of the home. Other things to note A few miles back down the road is Volcano road which will take you to Volcano National Park. down the road the other way takes you to Keaau-Pahoa Rd that takes you to Kalapana where when the laval flows you can see it flow into the ocean. It is not flowing right now but you can see where it has. Kilauea is erupting right now and you can walk the viewing point in the Park and see the lava flowing into the lava lake. Check what the Volcano is doing because it changes all the time. We are also adding a Pottery Experience where Jeri will show you how to glaze a Mug or other piece of pottery she has available and you can fire it and take it home as a souvenir from Hawaii.
