Our unique property offers privacy, privacy, privacy. This is a place where lifetime memories are made. Call, text or email us anytime for questions or concerns. We understand that there are many other places you can choose to stay on your vacation, and we understand how important your vacation time is to you and your family. This is why it is so important for us to ensure your vacation expectations are met. We are dedicated to make sure you have a comfortable and safe place to stay so that you can enjoy the island by day and sleep well at night. Leilani Estates is a private, proud, and tight-knit community. Well regulated with Community Watch volunteers who patrol the streets daily. Please respect our neighbors and all community signs with aloha. There is a bus route. A lot of locals, as well as visitors, hitch hike. I prefer rental car. Full disclosure: This area of the island is a sub-tropical rain forest. And like any rain forest, there will be rain. Our community averages approxamiately 101 inches of rain a year. But like anyone in Hawaii will tell you, "just wait 5 minutes", and the weather will change. On the property, you will most likely see our geckos and hear the coqui frogs. The geckos sometimes might even find their way into the house, but do not be afraid. The geckos are considered good luck and they eat small insects and are not harmful to humans. The coqui frogs are outside throughout the forest. They are small about 1 inch and also are harmless to humans. They really sing loud throughout the night, so be warned. You might also see what looks like a long skinny ground squirrel or squirrels' running throughout the yard. These would be our local neighbor mongooses (Hawaiian name: manakuke). They should be treated as you would any wild animal.
