Living On Aloha! In Oceanview, Hawaii

Come one, come all to the Big Island. You are welcome here to rest and relax in this private suite attached to my dream house. Located on the slopes of Mauna Loa; halfway between Kona and Volcano National Park, Aloha House is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of your life, located at the 80 mile marker. A great place to land while exploring the real natural beauty of the Big Island. The space Your room is a renovated studio with a private entrance and full bath. There is a kitchenette with everything but a stove. There is a grill with one burner located on your private lanai for cooking. Free wireless is available, the TV has Netflix and Hulu available. There are no laundry facilities available on the premises. There is a laundromat located near Oceanview Market. Guests who book more than 7 days have a fresh bedding and towel service available to them. Guest access You are welcome to come on my lanai when I'm not home. Enjoy the gifts I have been given! Also, the main house has a alarm system, please DO NOT try to open any of the doors or windows of the main house. Other things to note Aloha house is located in the district of Ka'u. It is the southern most district of the United States. Ka'u is the least developed area of the Hawaiian Islands. It is as close to the old Hawaii as you can get. Please explore our sites, there are giant lava tubes at Kula Kai Caverns (3miles away), South Point(10 miles); great coffee place and farm at on South Point road and of course the famous Green Sands Beach. Also, the towns' of Na'alehu(15 miles) and Pahala (27 miles). Na'alehu has the infamous "Punalu'u Bakery" and special eateries(open market every Wednesday morning) and Pahala has the Ka'u Coffee Mill which has public tours and the best Ka'u coffee around. Please feel free to ask me about anything you want to do...Enjoy!Please realize that this is Oceanview..not Oceanfront! We do not have access to a beach close to the house. Punalu'u is located at the 56 mile marker past Na'alehu; a black sand beach that usually has Honu (turtles) sleeping in the sun or nibbling the seaweed on the rocks. Or Ho'okena is north at the 102 mile marker. It is a beautiful swimming and snorkeling beach. We are approx. 40 miles from Volcano National Park and a beautiful drive. Also, our water supply is on a catchment system but I have an extensive filtration system so the tap water is safe to drink. Please do conserve water as much as possible though (short showers are appreciated). We never know when it's going to rain and when it's NOT! :) Registration Details 094129971201
