Access to kitchen and laundry. We have an extremely accessible location to all parts of Ames. 15 to 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to either Downtown Ames or Iowa State University. CyRide bus stop mere steps away from our front door. Walking/Bike trails to multiple parks nearby. Our home is situated conveniently to all parts of Ames and the ISU Campus, as well as to US Hwy 30 and I-35. Plentiful street parking right in front of our house. We do live here, and we welcome you to share the beauty and space of our home. We are very flexible on all aspects of check-in/check-out; we accommodate many people who are in town for work, for extension classes at ISU, visiting friends, attending sports and entertainment events, etc. We are knowledgeable about Ames and the surrounding area. This room has one Queen bed, full closet, desk w/ lamp, ceiling fan with light, night stand w/ lamp, charging port, full closet, and two windows. Bedroom door has digital code pad for your privacy and safety. Shared bathroom is right next door with shower, sink, and toilet. Only one other guest room shares this bathroom. You will receive two codes. One to the front door deadbolt, one to your room. Deadbolt: enter code, manually turn lever left. To lock again upon leaving, press SCHLAGE button and manually turn lever right. Room: enter code, depress handle. Lock re-engages when door is shut. Your personal space is respected here. We will share as much about our area and home as you care to inquire about. If we are not at home, reach us by text, phone, or the airbnb app. Neighborhood setting. Quiet and private. The two rooms we are hosting for airbnb are in the upper split level of our house, and have a newly remodeled bathroom between them. Bathroom has lock on the door for complete privacy, and hooks for hanging clothes and towel. Rooms are each furnished with desk and office chair with convenient outlets located near the desk and the nightstand.
