NOTE: We are bound to comply with the Massachusetts Commonwealth Travel Order which states that you must have a negative Covid-19 test 72 hours prior or be from a low risk state. All booking requests will be reviewed. This space is ideal for 1 or 2 people but viable for up to 4. We're LGBTQI friendly and welcoming to any and all kinds of folks. The house is a big community home where five adults and one cute kid all live. The main bed in the room is a twin sized mattress. There's also a loveseat in the room that converts into a surprisingly comfy full-sized bed. The guest room also has (1) a Keurig coffee maker in it, with a variety of coffee types you can use, (2) some breakfast bars and instant oatmeal. There are also dishes and cups for your use. The room is stocked up with sci-fi novels and books of poetry on a high shelf. If you want to get your read on, you're more than welcome. The game room (the room into which you first enter) has a full sized futon that can be used for sleeping (for larger groups) or just sitting in as your living room while you're here. There is a microwave and fridge in this space for storing and reheating leftovers or zapping a quick meal. You're welcome to play any of the games you find. We've got dozens of board games for children and adults alike. There are also a number of musical instruments which can be used with care and adult supervision. If you are coming with kids the game room has a futon and the kiddos can sleep right outside your room leaving you with private space. Please note: This suite has a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, some dishes, cups, and glasses - but, there is no actual kitchen. The rental comes with private off-street parking and access to three rooms: (1) the game room (for use as a living room), (2) the bedroom, and (3) the private bath. There is no kitchen. While interaction with folks in the house isn't required, chances are that you'll hear us in the house. We might see you out in the backyard if it is nice also. We think we're kind of a neat group of folks who have varied interests in ecological sustainability, science, theatre, education, and creativity in general, so we're often down to have a conversation or three if you're interested. This is a residential neighborhood that is a 20-minute walk from Davis Square (in one direction) and Arlington Center (in the other). The house has free off-street parking for two additional cars, is on an MBTA bus line, and is a 20 minute walk to Davis Square (if you'd rather not take the bus). While we have a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave in the suite, there is no access to a full kitchen.
