Other things to note ABOUT ILLEGAL RENTALS The city and county has recently passed new enforcement measures against vacation rentals which are not legally zoned to operate. Basically, most of everything outside of Waikiki is illegal with very few exceptions with some illegal in Waikiki too but it is a safer bet. If you are booked now or intend to book outside of Waikiki or any rental not legally zoned and operated, BEWARE as your reservation may be cancelled without any notice including during your stay. Have a back up plan or better yet, just book a legally zoned rental.
