We have plenty of beach towels, chairs, snorkel equipment, and a even cooler to take snacks to the beach. The floor plan is a split level, with the two master suites with king beds on the lower level (walk out) with in-room air-conditioning and the third bedroom located on the main (upper) level with a queen bed and adjacent bathroom. This bedroom has a ceiling fan and 3 walls with windows! One of the master bedrooms has a TV and there is a flat screen TV in the main living room. The kitchen is fully stocked. The pool and hot tub are located across from the unit and it's a great place to relax after an adventurous day on the island. There is a commercial size gas grill available for guests as well. Parking space for 1 car outside and guest parking spaces available. Note: Unit garage space is occupied with owner's car, but all beach items in the garage are available to use. The Villas of Kamali'i is a residential gated community located adjacent to the Makai Golf and Tennis club. Walk to the beach at Hideaways, Annini, Old Club Med, old Princeville Hotel and Queen's Bath! There is golfing at the Makai Golf Course. The Princeville Center offers a grocery, bank/ATM, post office, restaurants and shops. Kilauea, with its majestic lighthouse and bird sanctuary, along with the quaint little town of Hanalei. More entertainment options include: numerous beautiful beaches, hiking the Kalalua Trail on the Na Pali coast, snorkeling and swimming, surfing world famous Hanalei Bay and 'Tunnels,' scuba diving, boating, windsurfing, ocean and river kayaking, helicopter tours, and horseback riding are all within a 10 minute drive. Other island activities include hiking the Waimea Canyon, which is referred to as 'The Grand Canyon of the Pacific,' deep sea fishing, boat excursions for whale and dolphin watching, bicycling, and boogie boarding. Walk to Annini Beach (near the Westin) or Hideaways Beach (near the St. Regis) in about 15 minutes or drive to Hanalai Bay in 5 minutes, Tunnels or Secret Beach in about 15 minutes.
