Rental unit in New Orleans

Enjoy being centrally located in Bayou St. John. Look out your front window and see the water, walk 5-10 minutes and you have access to groceries, restaurants, a wine bar and many other amenities. Or enjoy a 15 minute walk to city park to scope out an art exhibit, play mini golf or just enjoy the scenery. You'll be living in the heart of this very beautiful neighborhood, living like a local and enjoying your own quiet studio apartment. The space This is a studio which means it is open. The first room is a small kitchen with a table for two, couch and television. The kitchen has a gas range, vent hood, refrigerator/freezer & microwave. The bedroom has a small closet to hang clothes and store luggage and the bath has a shower with bench. The space is recently renovated with original heart pine floors, and the unique Arabian archway between the bedroom and living room. Enjoy lots of light, high ceilings and a very pleasant space. Please note that our unit is NOT ADA or handicap accessible as the home is raised from the ground and there are 4 stairs to get into the home. Guest access The entire apartment is yours! We live next door to you and there is a larger side yard. You can store bikes on that side of the property, but there is no backyard access. Other things to note There is no laundry in the apartment, but if you need anything washed we can do that for you, just let us know. Also if you would like your sheets changed there will be an extra set for you and we will launder when you request. There is only street parking for the unit. We try to be considerate of our neighbors so ask that you let us know if you are driving and parking ahead of time. We prefer than any guests that stay with us park their vehicles in the front center spot in front of our home, or at the beginning of the block on the right side of Saint Philip Street next to the yellow home. These spaces are usually open and neighbors have guests park there. This way our neighbors can park in front or near their homes. We very much appreciate your consideration with this!
