Bed and breakfast in Cedar Rapids

This loft/suite is the entire second floor of our 1880 brick, Victorian-style bed & breakfast. It has a king bed and a full bed, sitting area, mini-fridge, microwave, wifi, TV, and large private bathroom with roomy, stand-up shower. All off-street parking.We are a professional, licensed bed & breakfast in business for 27years. The space Our property's main house and guest house are three courses of solid masonry. Built by Philip Wolff, who owned the brickyard, the1880 Victorian-style buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Inside decor also reflects the Victorian era and history of the families that owned and built the property. The buildings sit on a 2 acre, wooded estate that existed prior to the surrounding NW neighborhood. Guest access The loft/suite is a self contained unit on the second floor of the carriage house. Out of doors, guests are welcome to explore the scenic garden surroundings or relax on the colonnade or other outdoor seating. An elegant breakfast is served in the main house at which time the first floor is open for show. We are happy to share the history of our home at that time. During your stay All guest quarters are separate from the main house. We greet each guest upon arrival to assist with special requests, inquire about dietary restrictions, and make recommendations on dining and attractions in the area. A filling and freshly-prepared breakfast is served in the main house dining room. Breakfast to-go is an option if you prefer. Guests may be as private or social as they like. We are always available, but never intrusive. Other things to note We have two little Yorkies, Scamp and Scuffy, that you may encounter in the main house. They are secluded in their "playpen" during breakfast.
