Ocean front paradise located between the ocean on the West and Alii Dr. on the East, a Park to the North and Magic Sands Beach to the South. Magic Sands is the only white sand beach in Kailua-Kona. Turtles swim between your legs while wadding. You will lay in your bed and fall asleep to the smell of the ocean breeze and the meditative sounds of the ocean waves. From the second balcony, you will have a perfect vantage point of the competitors. The facility is located next to the Magic Sands Beach, which is the only white sand beach in Kona. Great boogie boarding and snokeling. A plethora of yellow tang fish can be seen in the wave breaks. The condo is in the historical Kona Magic Sands Resort and is decorated in classic native bamboo motif complete with hula lamps. The unit has air conditioning and slider privacy windows and solid wood core door with electronic key pad access. Guests have access to the whole space. I can be reached by phone or email. The Magic Sands Beach is popular, but the neighborhood is reminiscent laid back island life. There is a shuttle station directly across the street when the Kona Trolley stops at 20 minutes past the hour. Also, there are bikes that can be rented using an app for cruising into town. Downtown has public parking, but you will pay ~$15/hr to park. I also walk, which is three miles. It is nice to listen to the choir of exotic birds on my leisurely stroll. There is a private pool and lounge area and grills for BBQing. There is a storage in the bathroom with water shoes, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach pads, boogie boards, etc. On the North side of the building there is a coin operated laundry facility for resort guests. The newly remodeled Magics restaurant within the Kona Magic Sands Resort offers 10% discount to guests. There is a snack shack at the entrance, as well. Across the street is the Kona trolley stop where rental bikes are also available.
