Beautifully furnished and fully equipped 1-bedroom (2 bath) condo in one of the most beautiful condo complexes on Maui (Maui Kamaole). Maui Kamaole is one of the best condo complexes you can find on the island. Nicely nesteld in the most southern part of Kihei, close to Wailea and to the best beaches of the island this is the perfect place for you on Maui. Our unit is very nicely tucked away, yet very well located. Close to the upper, beautiful tropical pool and jaccuzi, but far enough from it to not be disturbed by pool noise. Our front lanai overlooks the beautiful lush tropical garden. Thanks to its location it is very private. Savor your morning coffee while listening to the birds and enjoying the sight of gorgeous bougainvillea and tropical plants. Should you - despite the vast choice of restaurants in the area - decide to eat in, our unit has a fully appointed kitchen. It includes and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, rice cooker and all the other you could need. Prepare your meal while looking out at the lanai and the garden and enjoying a nice, cool breeze. The bed is comfortable and spacious (it's a California King) and the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. There is a small, very private back lanai that allows some very quiet and private moments, especially nice, should you have the full occupancy of four guests. For the other guests a nice sleeper sofa waits in the living-room and since the unit has two full bathrooms, there is definitely enough room for four people. We provide our guests with a starter-kit of things needed (which are normally sufficient for a shorter stay) such as soap, shampoo, dishwashing and washing detergent etc. There is also a closet full of beach gear that our guests can use. Our guests will have access to the two pools and jacuzzis in the complex as well as the tennis courts. We interact with our guests via Airbnb, e-mail or text message /SMS. If desired we can also talk over the phone. There are some great restaurants and shops in the area. We like 5 Palms and not just for their food and the location (right by the ocean) but for the proximity. They are a bit towards Wailea on the other side of S. Kihei road. We normally walk there. A good place to go and have a drink or two (5 Palms has a good early and late happy hour) and want to avoid driving. There are a lot of small shops and restaurants in walking distance, and even more only a short drive away. The location is also perfect as getaway for day tours, as it's easily accessible and still fairly central. And water adventure (an the water) going from the Kihei boat ramp is literally just a few steps away. We recommend renting a car. There is a bus on Maui, for those who like to explore the island in a different way. However it normally only runs once/hour. If you do decide to take the bus, please bring an extra sweater as it tends to be very over-airconditioned. We have a starter-kit for every guest (toilet paper, dish soap, etc.) For longer stays guests are responsible for their own supplies. For short term travelers there is also shampoo and body soap, so no need to bring those. We do highly recommend booking travel insurance. Things can always happen last minute. And it's good to know that you won't loose out financially if you suddenly get sick, break a bone or for some other reason can't take your trip. Often travel insurance also covers your tickets and tours you might have booked in advance. Airbnb has a very informative section about travel insurance on their page. The condo has two mini-split ACs. We appreciate if you keep the environment in mind while using these. I.e. keeping them off while you have the lanai doors or any of the jealousie-windows open as well as while you are on the road exploring Maui.
