If electricity usage during the reservation exceeds the included allowance, the excess electricity will be billed at the actual Hawaiian Electric residential rate charged to the property, plus 15%, rounded to the nearest $0.25. Electricity usage is calculated using the unit’s electric meter data for the period between check-in and check-out. Example: A 5-night stay includes 65 kWh of electricity (5 × 13 kWh).
